ABOUT US
The Parish of Weymouth, in response to the Gospel of Jesus Christ, exists for the love of God and our neighbour. We are a parish of two beautiful and historic Anglican churches, and are a welcoming community of believers seeking to be transformed by the love of God for the sake of our world. We offer a combination of traditional and contemporary Anglican worship which is the centre of our life together. We are located in Weymouth, a small town in South Western Nova Scotia, situated along the banks of St. Mary's Bay and the Sissiboo River, where we strive by the grace of God, to continue what has been a faithful Christian witness in our parish for over 200 years.
Our Mission
To proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ, teach and nurture believers, and respond to human needs. We value tradition and reason while being grounded in Biblical faith. We desire to respond to God's own seeking of his people with an openness to greater diversity, wider participation in ministry and leadership, and to be better stewards of God's creation.
